The language around Magnet recognition is specialized, and in healthcare settings it frequently gets used loosely. That is where confusion starts. A nurse leader may state a hospital is "on its Magnet journey." A consultant may market help with "Magnet documents." A marketing group may wish to put the Magnet name or logo on a webpage the minute an application is submitted.
